Hey guys! :) I'm the team captain of a local leg of a national team for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night walk. My team is pretty big - we've raised over a quarter of a million dollars in the past few years and had over 580 walkers last year alone. My personal goal is to raise $1000 this year (and I've already reached almost half that goal), but I need some ideas! Essentially, I want to ask some local businesses for donations but I'm not sure who to ask. I've heard private businesses are better to ask than big corporations, but I don't want to rule ANYTHING out. My questions for you are: 1) Do you know any LOCAL businesses (Framingham, MA, Marlborough, MA, Lowell, MA, or Nashua, NH areas are best! :)) that give charitable donations? Please share! 2) What about larger companies and organizations? Let me know your experiences! Thank you so much!
