Our Solutions Engineers work closely with our sales team, engineering, product management, and our customers to develop solution concepts that meet our customers’ supply network automation needs.  The primary responsibility of the Solutions Engineer is to lead these internal and external cross-functional teams to conceptualize, analyze, and bring to reality the solution set for each customers’ distinct needs.

• Lead cross functional teams in the development of new solution configurations and designs that would integrate Symbotic systems in our customer’s facilities.
• Understand our customer’s business challenges, motivations for automation, operational processes and propose new solutions that deliver improved productivity and quality.
• Be able to transform these business needs into specific hardware, software or system- level changes. Leading to solutions that enhance our value proposition.
• Partner with the systems analysis teams to build and maintain system configuration models, refine the models in collaboration with our sales team.
• Attend sales calls with the sales team to answer technical questions about Symbotic.
• Assist the sales team with the proposal development (configuration, pricing)
• Produce clear and concise executive communication (written, presentation, customer)
• Capture customer requirements to support product management in producing market requirement documents.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with analysis of systems/business process.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, science or business degree, masters preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly changing startup environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, flexible and adaptable to change, sound decision making and critical thinking.
• Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences.
• Strong sales and customer service skills and commercial instinct
• Supply chain industries and warehouse automation experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 35 - 45% of the time.
